"Patients might get up to 300 shots in a lifetime. Other diseases have spread this way; an Egyptian campaign against schistosomiasis ended in 1980 after giving more than half its “beneficiaries” hepatitis C." -This is the kind of thing that creates the conspiracy theories that the government is intentionally inoculating the population with disease through vaccination. I don't think it's intentional, but you can see where the fear comes from.

Great read. Thanks.

I didn't think about that, but its a good point. In reality, you can't intentionally spread a disease that you aren't aware exists; but, of course, reality is usually secondary to conspiracy theorists.

reality is usually secondary to conspiracy theorists.-That's usually the case, but every now and then the conspiracy theorists are the ones most firmly set in reality. Nixon's presidency comes to mind.

What!?!?! Henry Kissinger won the Nobel Peace Prize. Nixon was the one being persecuted; didn't you ever read his memoir, "The Real War"? (Sarcasm, btw, just in case you can't tell!)
