I'm a bit conflicted. It's hard to tell what led up to this. But, I have to wonder what this marine might do or has done under orders. Some of these police are abusive and going too far, but some aren't. Some also have bad superiors and they are faced with following shitty orders or losing their jobs. Marines will do some fucked up things under orders. They are trained not to question, but to follow orders.
This is a complicated situation, and this marine seemed to getting himself worked up as he continued. I just don't feel comfortable taking much of anything from this.
And get ready for this:

I wanted to like this but it just annoyed me. I think this would be like someone going to a group of soldiers and screaming at ALL of them because of Abu-Ghraib. Chances are, these cops haven't abused any of the protesters and it's even likely that many of them agree with much of the "occupiers" complaints.
Perhaps if the video had the context that surrounded it. If this Marine saw, first hand, police violently abusing citizens (and perhaps he did) then I might have more sympathy for his inarticulate case.

If you assume that the marine is not a liar, then I think it is implied by his comments that his words were targeted at the policemen he did see abuse their power.
