She's so outnumbered :/
I'm so cynical at this point that I tend to think this sort of thing is only for posturing and not because she actually thinks she'll be able to effect change. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong.
I've been following her for a while. She's the real deal. If she thinks she can't effect change that won't stop her from trying anyway. Plus she's got the additional drive of having been blocked by the Repubs for heading up the Consumer Protection Bureau. The reason they blocked her nomination is because she is their paymaster's worst nightmare.
At the very least, you've been following her for500 days, likely more :) That was the first time she really hit my radar, when I posted that. There is no doubt that she's asking the questions for the sake of theatre, but theatre is a very powerful tool. Had she not, we wouldn't be watching this video now. It seemed that the response was essentially, "hey, our job is to work with the tools we are given and that is to administer fines when rules are broken". -Seems they either need more teeth or more back-bone. She is a fast-rising star in the Democratic party, no doubt about that.
