How does a logged out or non-register user view submissions?

Currently, they have to look at one of the links on the bottom. It is a good point. We could do is serve up the hubs or feeds of some popular users. But, I'm not sure...

Unfortunately, this wasn't the cleanest push. :/ Everything was smashing on the development server, but the choices are not pulling in as much content as I want. I'm working to remedy that.

You could take the top N posts by popularity, rather than enabling specific users/tags, and then mix in a large excess of recent posts. (Similar to what someone would see if they set external posts to many)

Yes, the newgreen had an idea that was similar that I am going to implement. That and the correction to the number of external feeds is coming shortly.

It could be based on badges received as well. Another option to serve up good posts.

Well, if you aren't logged in, this page is suggested to you now:

http://hubski.com/lurk

It's very similar to the active post page right now, but I will probably alter it, and use some other sources to give a good overview.

How is that lessismore?

This looks fantastic. Thanks. I will lurk. :)

I use the "active" link at the bottom of the page often.

That's a great question. Maybe those without an "account" should be directed to the "best posts" feed or some sort of random feed? There are bound to be lurkers that just go to Hubski to.... well, lurk. I don't see why they shouldn't be able to do this anymore?

I often lurk myself and only login when I have something to contribute.
