Seems like the sort of thing kleinbl00 would enjoy but already know about.
I realized I should write more. Basically, it works slightly like reddit etc -- you post cool retail items and people vote on favorites so they rise to the top. Difference: votes are hard-and-fast pledges to buy the product if it reaches a certain price drop. Once enough people vote/pledge, massdrop talks to retailers and explains what's going on, they do a bulk order, cheaper, everyone's happy. Currently the products are pretty niche/expensive but I just bought two pairs of designer shades for 24 dollars.
Sadly I know it. I'm kind of a mechanical keyboard enthusiast. Spent way too much money on this website already.
As I type this, I have a couple of packages from them laying around at my American familie's place, waiting for me to pick them up around Christmas. Even my new keyboard, hhhhhnnnnngggggg Edit: If you want to look at Massdrop link without having to register, you can add "?mode=guest_open" (without quotes) to the link and you can see the article.
I got my iBasso DX50 through Massdrop. If I were less broke I would be using Massdrop a lot more, but I definitely like it. It's especially good if you want to know if the item is worth it. Commenters are quick to let everybody know if it's worth it, if there is someplace where it can be found cheaper, or whatever else you may need to know.
I got my Magic Flight Lunch Box Finishing Grinder for 24$ including shipping to germany. Bascially, I saved the shipping (6.50$). It is not sold in europe (to my knowledge)
When I was 22, my parents took our family on a trip to Glacier National Park. We were adamant that we were going to see a grizzly bear or a black bear on our trip... any bear would do. By the end of the trip, we were pretty sick of looking because we were constantly disappointed, "look over there... oh, it's just a boulder." We were also just very sick of being around one another. On our drive back to Missoula MT, all squished in to a mini van my dad passed what he thought was a bear on the side of the road. He stopped and turned the car around and we all looked out the window in eager anticipation. Lying there, on the side of the road, long since dead was a medium sized black dog. My sister began to cry, we were all annoyed/disturbed. But yeah, it's also easy to see live animals where there are only dead ones.
What I've found is that upgrading your wallet is the kind of tiny change in your life that gets magnified because you notice it sixty times a day. I'm currently bombing a hand-stitched leather beauty direct from Argentina, which I cherish, but it's got a different fold style than my old wallet and it took me weeks to adjust. Wallets matter more than people think. Jump at the chance for a semi-cheap upgrade, but be sure it's actually an upgrade first.
Wallet recommendations for a wallet pleb, please. I need a new one.
http://www.philswallets.com I've been looking at these for a while, the only thing stopping me is the expensive shipping to Canada. I'll probably order it next time my boyfriend orders motorcycle parts into his New York P.O. box.
Sounds like how people I know get fake ID's. They should partner up with Silk Road, hit the jackpot :D
