I love Netflix. I love them a lot. I know dude has pulled some bonehead maneuvers (and I don't mind the increase in price - he just did it wrong - maybe he should hire a proper PR person). I hope that he gets it figured out, and is able to stay in business.
- Most significant, when Netflix makes a series available online, it posts all the episodes at once: no more parceling out the drama week by week. That is a fundamental change in the way “television” series can be created.
This is what I like. Netflix is how we watch things atm, so I hope they figure it out. Just finished Downton Abbey recently. It was good.

I love Netflix too, even when everyone was dogging them, I supported them. If the US ever loses Netflix, it will be a huge loss.
It's all about the content. I'm watching the Dark Shadows original series right now on Netflix. I signed up for their free trial to do so. The amount of content for digital is kind of weak IMHO, but the experience of using the service is insanely good. I found that my Xbox has a netflix app, so I can just turn that on and start watching Netflix on my large tv without doing a thing. Streaming to the iPad is awesome in bed. It's insanely effortless really, and epitomizes what the consumption experience should be. Not sure if I will keep it around yet though...there has to be stuff I want to watch and it's competing with just surfing oenone for interesting free documentaries and other content.

I love Netflix too, I just put Game of Thrones in the mailbox and can't wait for the next two discs to arrive.
aside: Does anyone else have Roku? I like it so far but I was trying to get HBO to go and couldn't because you need to have HBO through a television provider first. Seems like a lame business move on HBO's part. Any suggestions on how to sidestep that?

I have some coworkers who share passwords - but even with that, only one person can stream (to iPad, phone, etc) at a time.
I agree - SUPER LAME of HBO to do this. Why not just open up a new revenue stream? I would pay for it. I don't have cable at all, but I would pay for HBO content when and where I want it.
