Haha I did not notice the date. that is hilarious.
I don't think it would work do most rich folks have 15% of their wealth in cash? If they don't then they will have to sell Stock, Property etc to make the bill. The sell off could depress the market. Perhaps they could pay in stock? making it a huge nationalization scheme.
Yeah, I'm not going to claim to know much of what's going on when it comes to finalcial trends/lingo. From what I read, it sounded nice in concept.
It was calling for the highest paid to pay our debt, right?
not just the highest paid but more profoundly those who own the most of the country.
I wonder how those people reacted to it. Did they get upset, or did Trump stir up enough emotion to have them on board? I guess the latter of the two since this never played out.
I think most f the actual billionaires ignore Donald Trump as he only has less then 750 million.
only has less than 750 million
That's sad that's a statement
It was prolly a bluff that 17% of his worth is hundreds of millions of dollars.
When it is really about 125 million. he is a weird egg. (rich people are too rich)
Isn't most of his money invested in buildings? I feel as if I've heard that before.
Mostly it is other peoples money invested in buildings. he is more of a brand than a developer.
The brand of course is that he pretends to be a rich developer. He was in the 80's now he is just a celebrity.
It's that a strange concept? For a person to become a brand?
I don't know, I think that is how celebrity culture works theses days.
Bowie incorporated himself. Not many musicians I respect more.
