Yeah, Yelpers tend to want to tell you about their day, how they met their babysitter late, and how the food was so much better in some other city irrelevant to the discussion that I tend to discount any review over 100 words.

I actually do my yelp reviews in haiku just to buck the trend.

Ha. I actually just laughed out loud - though I refuse to abbreviate. I'd love to read some of your yelpku's.

That's just awesome kleinbl00.

Several years ago, I made http://randomhaiku.blogspot.com. -It's still there!

I really like this one:

Sugar on my tongue

You'd better put that away

Jumping in the lake

It reminds me of a time I went camping on the Potowatamy trail in Michigan. We took acid and went swimming. I started "peaking" while in the lake and wouldn't get out because of the mosquitos. Later I spoke with a tree while listening to the Beatles Revolver. -Good times :)

I just got:

  I hear Hall and Oates
  Nature is singing to me
  Give me a second
Not bad.

I like it. Reminds me of this time I was on peyote....

I kid you not:

  A double bed please
  I want to play 'Mario'
  Let us romp and play
Ok. I've got to stop. :)

...did you write those or are they generated? 'cuz a Haiku generator would be the shizzle.
mk  ·  4863 days ago  ·  link  ·
No I just made a crazy long list of phrases. A real generator would be fantastic.

I'm so glad this exists:

"Food of self-loathing

Took a long time for fried crap

They forgot ketchup".

You really need to post this as it's own thing. This seriously brought me a lot of joy. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful.

As I read your Yelpku a commercial for BMW featuring the song "Changes" by Bowie came on. Somehow all was right and wrong in the world at the same time.
