I have a lot that i could post, but i saw thenewgreen's great pair of headphones and couldn't resist posting the two pairs i have. They are my babies.
I think thenewgreen wants your Dr. Pepper guitar.
That Dr. Pepper guitar loves to photo-bomb your work, doesn't it. Headphones are a necessity in my opinion. As someone that creates music, it makes me cringe to think that some people might listen to my music through the crappy built in speaker on their lap-tops. Especially as a fan of hard-panning. But yeah, headphones rock!
Nice shot. I saw Soundgarden years ago, it was a great show.
I don't like posting pics of people I shoot, but shot a band a couple weekends ago and really liked this extremely simple and unappealing photo.
I have that mic though mine doesn't come equipped with bad ass lighting.
Fanfare Ciocarlia at JazzFest this summer. It's the first time i've been in a mosh pit at the jazz festival, great show! Here's a video I took at the show, if anybody's interested :)
They played two times that day, the video's from the calmer show. I was too busy dancing to take a video when it got wild.
My university hosts its graduation ceremony on the 'Plymouth Hoe'. I took a 360 panorama of the place and turned it into a 'tiny planet' on my phone. Like I said in the original post, I linked it to music because I was graduating in Music!
That's pretty hip! What area of music are you specifically interested in (assuming you're specializing in a certain area)? Edit: The more I look at that photo the more I'm fascinated. How did you get it to come out like that?
The first 2 years of my degree were just core music but I specialised in technology during my final year. I produce a lot of electronic music but I'm in loads of different projects such as Blues, Progressive/Post Rock, Ambient and Jazz. The photo was pretty much done automatically by my phone, but I did some research and found out it's called Stereographic Projection. It starts off with a 360 panorama and then maps a sphere onto a plane. Here is a photoshop tutorial I found.
That sounds awesome. I'm a jazz major myself about in my last year of school. Where are you based out of? I'll look into it, thanks.
Just kidding, thenewgreen. Found one (but it'd be great to have 'Sky' too!)
Ah... there you go. I just replied to your PM and think you should still take my advice. I'd like to see those shots. Also, they may be worth their own post, right?
