Lately I've been listening to a lot of Sergei Rachmaninoff. In particular:

-Prelude in C sharp minor, Op. 3

-Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini

-Prelude in G Minor, Op. 23

-And my current favorite, due to the finale, is the third movement of Piano Concerto No.3

I'm kind of in the same boat. A lot of the time, I really just don't have anything worthwhile to add. This is especially true on Reddit, where I always get to the good discussions late and anything I write will be buried.

The few times I do actually have something to say, I spend ages editing my post before pressing save for some of the same paranoid reasons as you. I'm doing it right now. I'm not just paranoid about what other people might say, but I'm also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to writing. These two things don't mix well. About half the time I just end up hitting cancel.

I will not go to a movie theatre where they check my bag. I don't want to go to the movies that bad.

I think this could be a big issue for the theaters. Although I've mostly just heard this as whispers on the internet and am not sure if this is an actual trend, it seems like theaters are becoming less popular.

WIth growing services such as Hulu and Netflix accessible from the comfort of my own home, it's becoming harder to justify going out and spending the rising ticket and food costs. This is just one more thing that will ultimately tell people it's not worth it to bother, and they'll just stay home instead. And I'll probably be joining them.

That's one of the best summaries I've read. Thank you for giving a fairly unbiased report.
